A small builder, on purpose
Meadow Rise Developments was founded in Preston in 2025 to build the kind of new homes we’d want to live in ourselves, a few at a time and in places we know well.
Why Meadow Rise?
The name comes from the kind of land we look for: gently rising ground at the edge of a village, where the fields meet the houses.
We started Meadow Rise because we felt that a lot of new housing had lost touch with the places it was built in, with the same house types repeated from Cornwall to Cumbria. We wanted to do the opposite: smaller schemes, designed for their setting, built by local trades and looked after properly once people move in.
Our tagline has been the same since day one, and it still sums up how we work: building dreams, one home at a time.
